At North Country Animal Health Center we take special care of your pets like they are family.
The Perfect vacation spot for your felines, canines, ferrets, avian and pocket size exotic friends. With the peace of mind of knowing your pet is in caring, medically trained hands.
- All dogs must have current immunizations against Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough).
- All cats must have current immunizations against Rabies and Distemper.
- A cleansing bath is optional one day prior to dismissal for an additional charge.
- All clients are required to read and sign the boarding admission form.
- Animals will be admitted & discharged ONLY during regular office hours.
- Any animal that requires emergency or immediate veterinary attention will receive it at our discretion, and at the owner's expense.
- An emergency telephone number should be left with the hospital.
- Animals requiring medication or treatment (such as wound treatment) will be charged appropriate fees.
- Please inform us if you are not happy with the way your pet was cared for. Your satisfaction and your pet's well‑being are our primary concern.
- Be aware that your pet’s eating habits may have varied while away from home. They may have barked at other animals; or the temperature & humidity may have been slightly different from your home. This can create problems such as sore throats, tonsillitis, or diarrhea. We seek to prevent such problems, but you must understand that these problems do develop. Owners will be charged appropriate fees for all treatment and medication needed for reasons that are not directly under our control.
- We furnish all normal food (Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach) and bedding. We also provide food and water bowls.
- We offer extra walks, playtime and teeth brushing for an additional charge.
- We provide litter pans and use Yesterday's News kitty litter for cats.
Pick Up/ Drop off hours for the weekend are as follows. Saturdays, pickup/ dropoff from 8-12. Sunday's Pick Up only from 5-6 and it must be scheduled.
