Treatment and ICU

Sometimes there is not enough space in an exam room to treat all of your pet's needs.  A doctor or technician may find it necessary to bring your pet to our treament area.  There is plenty of room and all the necessary state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and treat your pet.  This is also where we treat hospitalized patients and prepare animals for surgery.  We even have a separate room for more specialized procedures which we use for dental cleanings, bird exams, ultrasounds and more.  We also have a large x-ray facility and developing system that allows us to view radiographs in minutes.

Our intensive care unit (ICU) is reserved specifically for patients being kept for hospitalization and/or undergoing surgery.  With a large window facing the treatment area, we are able to constantly monitor all of our patients.  Because your pet is in a different environment and may not be feeling well, we do our best to make them comfortable by providing blankets or towels in the cages and giving them the extra attention they need and deserve.
