Pet Food Rcalls

Three pet food companies have issued voluntary recalls for possible aflatoxins. Cargill Animal Nutrition (makers of River Run and Marksman), Procter and Gamble (producers of Iams ProActive Health Smart Puppy food) and Advanced Animal Nutrition (Dog Power Dog Foods) are recalling select brands. None of the products are currently listed to be sold in NY State. If you are concerned about your pet's food, you can check your lot number on the FDA's pet food recall websie:
