Jefferson County K-9 Krew


Watertown Police K-9 Unit

     K-9 EMA is the first female K-9 in the Watertown Polic K-9 history. K-9 EMA is trained and certified in Criminal Apprehension, Tracking, and Narcotics Detection.  K-9 EMA and Officer M.W. Sutton are assigned to Patrol and are ready for Tracking Criminal Apprehension, Building Searches and Narcotics Detection, when needed.  K-9 EMA was donated by the Watertown Elks Lodge.


Jefferson County Sheriff's Office K-9

     K-9 Bullet is a 5 year old German Shepard from the Providence of Ontario, Canada. K-9 Bullet is certified in patrol work, tracking, and detection of illegal narcotics. K-9 Bullet is responsible for removing over $100,000 in illegal drug money and securing the apprehension of marijuana, cocaine, and heroin and removing it from our communities.  K-9 Bullet and Handler Deputy Paul Trudeau have successfully participated in several details to track criminals as well as finding lost civilians.  This K-9 team also enjoys doing demonstrations for this community they serve.


Jefferson County Sheriff's Office K-9

     K-9 Liberty is a male Belgian Malinois.  He was born in Canada in 2003 and joined the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in 2005.  K-9 Liberty is certified in narcotics detection, building seraches, tracking and handler protection.  K-9 Liberty and his handler, Deputy Sheriff Shaun Cuddeback, have assisted several agencies, including the US Border Patrol, US Customs, the New York State Police and the Watertown Police to remove criminals, illegal drugs and drug money from our streets.
