Stephanie Lister, DVM, MSc, DACVS

Dr. Stephanie Lister is a board certified specialist in small animal surgery.  She received her DVM degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2003.  Following graduation, she completed a  general internship in Indiana, at the Northern Indiana Veterinary Emergency / Speciality and Purdue University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, then a surgical internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto, Canada.  Following internships, she underwent a 3 year residency and Masters  in small animal surgery at Kansas State University, to receive advanced training in orthopaedic, soft tissue, and neurosurgery.  After residency training, she stayed on for a short period as a clinical instructor, before moving to a private referral hospital in Richmond, Virginia working as a small animal surgeon.  Dr. Lister became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2009.  She has recently moved to the North Country to offer referral surgery services.
